| Fools
and Prophets morphed from a group called Faith and
Practice. Members changed over the years until there
weren’t any of the original group members left. Gene
Taylor, play's fiddle and harmonicas, has been in the
group the longest. Dave Crosman, plays guitar, tenor
banjo and banjolele, came in next. Erica Larsen, plays
mandolin and sometimes bass, Lynne Nugent on guitar
and Anthony Perrotti on guitar (6and 12 string) and
bass. They choose their songs mostly by consensus
within the group so their songs cover a range of
Americana. Their sweet harmonies seem to come almost
organically.
They enjoy sharing
their love of music with others in informal concerts
for community groups, fundraisers, parties,
conferences, farmers markets, They encourage
audiences to sing along, dance, and most of all,
have fun at their concerts!
